Refund policy

The Sangemarmar
All products sold by The Sangemarmar are handcrafted, quality-checked, and securely packed before dispatch. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. No Returns or Refunds

We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges once an order has been delivered, except for transit damage or incorrect item delivery, as defined below.
Requests based on change of mind, personal preference, or subjective dissatisfaction will not be entertained.

2. Transit Damage or Defective Items

In the rare event that your product is received in a damaged or defective condition, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
To be eligible for review, you must provide:
  • Clear photos of the damaged product
  • Photos of the inner and outer packaging
  • Uncut unboxing video (mandatory for fragile items)
  • Order number and registered contact details
Requests raised after 24 hours or without complete evidence will be automatically rejected.
Upon verification, resolution will be limited to:
  • Replacement of the same product (subject to availability), or
  • Store credit, at our sole discretion
Cash refunds or refunds to the original payment method are not provided.

3. Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive an incorrect product or if an item is missing, you must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery with photographic proof.
Claims raised after this period will not be considered.

4. Handmade Product Disclaimer

All products are handmade. Minor variations in:
  • Color
  • Texture
  • Stone pattern
  • Weight
  • Dimensions
These are natural characteristics of handcrafted items and do not constitute defects, damage, or grounds for return, replacement, or refund.

5. Non-Eligible Cases

No refund, return, or replacement will be issued in the following cases:
  • Change of mind or dislike of the product
  • Slight differences between website images and the actual product
  • Damage caused after delivery due to handling, storage, or usage
  • Orders refused at the time of delivery.
  • Failure to respond to courier delivery attempts
  • Delays caused by courier partners, customs, or force majeure events
  • International orders returned due to unpaid customs duties or taxes.
  • Bulk, wholesale, discounted, or customized orders

6. International Orders

For international shipments:
  • All customs duties, import taxes, and local charges are the customer's responsibility.
  • If an order is returned or abandoned due to unpaid duties, no refund, replacement, or store credit will be issued under any circumstances.

7. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only within 4 hours of placement by contacting our support team.
Once an order is packed, processed, or shipped, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded.

8. Shipping & Other Charges

All shipping fees, COD charges, customs duties, and handling costs are non-refundable, even in approved cases.

9. Right to Reject Claims

The Sangemarmar reserves the absolute right to:
  • Accept or reject any return, replacement, or refund request.
  • Request additional evidence before making a decision.
  • Reject claims that appear fraudulent, repetitive, or abusive.
Our decision shall be final and binding.

10. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be governed by and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
