Marble Decorative Bowls & Hand-Carved Stone Dishes

A stone bowl is one of the oldest objects humans make, and the form has barely needed changing. Ours are cut from solid marble, with the interiors turned smooth and the rims finished by hand.

Uses

The larger bowls hold fruit — and marble's coolness genuinely slows ripening compared to a wooden bowl. Mid-size pieces work as centrepieces or to hold potpourri and decorative spheres. The small 4-inch dishes are catchalls: rings, earrings, keys, paperclips.

Inlaid and plain

Mother-of-pearl and gemstone inlay pieces are the decorative end and suit display. Plain polished bowls in white, black, and green are the everyday workhorses and suit minimal interiors.

Food use

Marble is non-porous and food-safe for dry items and whole fruit. For anything acidic — citrus, tomatoes, dressings — use a liner, as acid etches the polish.
