Who we are

The Sangemarmar is the retail arm of M/S S K Cottage Industries, established in Agra in 2007. Every piece is cut, inlaid and polished by hand by artisans working a few miles from the Taj Mahal, in the same Pietra Dura tradition used on the monument itself. Nothing is resin, cast or machine-stamped.

Why trade buyers work with us

• Made to order. We are the workshop, not a reseller, so quantities and specifications are set by you rather than by what happens to be in stock.
• Consistency across a run. Marble is a natural stone and no two pieces are identical, but we can match stone and inlay across an order so a set reads as a set.
• Custom work. Sizes, inlay motifs, stone selection and engraving can be adapted. Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
• Direct export experience. We have shipped to the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, the Gulf, Canada and Australia.

Lead times and shipping

Because pieces are made to order, bulk lead times depend on quantity and the complexity of the inlay. We will confirm a realistic date with your quote rather than give you an optimistic one.

Retail orders currently dispatch in 5–7 days with 7–21 days in transit internationally, and shipping is free worldwide on orders over $75. Import duties and local taxes are not included and may be payable on delivery in the destination country — we can supply the paperwork your customs broker will need.
